Welcome to Woodcraft magazine!

In print and here at the website, our aim is to provide you with a steady supply of information and inspiration that make your woodworking more enjoyable. We share your passion for woodworking, and we want to be your favorite source for PROJECTS, TECHNIQUES, PRODUCT REVIEWS & TIPS.

Meet the team

The Woodcraft Magazine team is tremendous in size and in other ways, too. For starters, we've got thousands of readers who contribute tips, articles, ideas and feedback. We work closely with a growing number of authors with expertise in all aspects of woodworking. Skilled photographers and artists help us bring woodworking topics to life. And thanks to our nationwide network of Woodcraft stores, we get woodworking news and views from many sources.

At the center of this big enterprise is a small team devoted to the magazine's everyday activities. Kiah Harpool and Kim McLaughlan are our front office experts, handling everything from reader mail and subscriptions to copyright agreements and small display advertising. Chad McClung and Shayne Hiles are the "art guys," who get credit for transforming article ideas into great-looking magazine pages. Editors Joe Hurst, Paul Anthony and Tim Snyder bring years of book, magazine and web publishing experience to the table, along with a passion for making shavings and sawdust. Advertising director Vic Lombard connects woodworking businesses with our growing community of woodworking enthusiasts.
