Jim Harrold, Editor-In-Chief
One of the woodworking industry’s most experienced journalists,
Jim Harrold brings more than three decades of writing
and woodworking to his post as editor-in-chief of Woodcraft Magazine.
His goal with
the publication is to facilitate woodworker success
through featuring relevant projects, techniques and products in each
issue.
Prior to joining Woodcraft, Jim served as managing editor of WOOD,
Weekend Woodworking Projects, Home Plan Ideas and
Do-It-Yourself. Jim’s
woodworking background stems from his college days
when he worked in construction and in a cabinet shop during his free
time and summers.
Today, he has a complete home workshop where he
enjoys building furniture, jewelry boxes, and whatever else suits his
woodworking needs and interests.

Joe Hurst-Wajszczuk, Editor
As a self-taught woodworker and an author, Joe Hurst-Wajszczuk is
uniquely qualified addition to Woodcraft Magazine, filling the role
of Senior Editor. He blends a passion for woodworking with an understanding
of the creative and management processes needed to produce a successful
publication.
Joe is the author of “Getting Started in Woodworking, Book IV” by
Taunton Press (2006) and has worked as a freelance writer for WOOD,
American Woodworker, Woodworker’s Journal, Handy and Lowe’s.
